Salvatore Paparelli (Past Speaker)

Salvatore Paparelli joined Sony Italy in 1989.

In 1997 he moved to Sony Europe HQ in Cologne in charge of Pan European Accounts and later in 1999 he was appointed General Manager of Sales Channel Management Europe in the newly established Sony HQ in Berlin.

In 2002 he took over the responsibility of Director European Sales of Consumer Product until 2004, when He moved back to Sony Italy as Operations Director, member of the Board.

On top of his role in Sony, In 2008 he has been appointed Vice President in ANIE – ICT  (Association of Electric and Electronic Industry) and President of the Consumer Electronics Industry association and in 2008 he founded the company EDIEL which, through investment of Industry and Distribution Associations, promotes and implement EDI in the Italian Electronic Industries and distribution.

In 2009, he was appointed Sales Director in addition to his role of Operations Director and on January the first 2011 he was appointed President and Managing Director of Sony Italy.

In November 2011 he become member of the Board of Directors in Digital Confindustria, the National industry association of all Telecom, communication. and electronics industries.

On March 2012 he moved to an European role and appointed “Regional Logistic Officer” in Sony HQ in UK also in charge of the Sales Operation platform established in Budapest and Managing Director of Sony Europe BV Supply chain in The Netherland.

On 2017 He was appointed Vice President – Sales Business Operation Europe
